Congratulations! You’re enrolled in a new insurance plan.

So, now what?

First, if you enrolled in a Marketplace plan during the last enrollment period, your coverage will most likely be automatically renewed. But  you should log on to your Marketplace account, update your info (e.g., income and family size), and confirm you want to stay in your plan or switch to select a new plan. This is important because you may be able to get more financial help, or find a plan that works better for you. Insurance costs change from year to year, and provider networks can also change  so check to see that the plan still covers your doctor or health care provider and that the cost fits your budget and needs.  You can update your information and switch to a new plan during open enrollment, until January 31, 2016.

Once you’ve renewed or changed your plan, or enrolled in a plan for the first time, be sure to confirm your plan details with your insurance provider so you know when your coverage goes into effect, and what services are included in your health care plan.
